The Global Markets Post-Trade IT team is responsible for providing support for Fixed Income, Equity / Securities Lending, and Credit Trading applications for both operational (functional and technical support) and change (projects) aspects within this domain. The team is involved in the various phases of application development : user needs collection, analysis, design, implementation, delivery, support, and maintenance, all within an agile framework.
We are looking for an IT Business Analyst for the Equities Booking and Post-Trade domain, covering Equity / Securities Lending, Operations, Risks, Compliance, and Accounting. He / She / They will provide support to end users and work on projects ranging from small to large scale, including Business, Regulatory, and Operational evolutions, as well as strategic initiatives like modernizing legacy Back-Office applications. This position requires a strong knowledge of the Equities and Options trade lifecycle from Booking to Clearing and Settlement, as well as familiarity with US broker-dealer and transactional regulatory reporting, along with solid experience with Back Office applications.
The candidate will focus on gathering requirements from stakeholders, writing business requirements and functional specifications, liaising with IT developers, defining and executing test scripts, and coordinating with end users for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The candidate will also assist with planning and status reporting.
This position involves interactions with Global Markets Pre-Trade IT Teams and Head Office IT teams.
For all matters related to the Equity and Securities Lending business :
Business Analysis / Project Management :
- Collaborate closely with user representatives (traders, operations, etc.) to determine and document business requirements.
- Perform and document impact and gap analysis.
- Assess IT solutions from third-party vendors versus in-house applications to meet the specific needs of the business.
- Write detailed functional specifications for IT development teams.
- Define and execute test scripts.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Scope and plan projects, report progress, identify and manage issues / risks, and facilitate communication.
Functional Support / Maintenance :
The salary range for this position will be between $145,000 - $180,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
Profil et comptences requises
Bachelors degree.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT business analysis functions within the finance industry.
Deep knowledge and experience with Back Office systems (in-house or vendor applications), including clearing and settlement workflows for Equities and Options.
Experience with trading systems such as Smart Loan, Loanet, Sophis, and Broker Dealer systems (e.g., Phase 3 / Shadow Suite).
Excellent knowledge of Equity / Securities Lending activities and products.
Experience with legacy systems modernization or new system implementation.
Proficient in SQL.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to provide solutions to complex problems.
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment across multiple applications.
Well-versed in Agile practices and methodologies.
Salary : $145,000 - $180,000
