The role:
You will be responsible for leading local creative development of 360 campaign assets, including adapting global creative direction to all US touchpoints and adhering to brand guidelines while keeping locally relevant marketing priorities in mind. You will oversee the design team and work closely with Project Management and Purchasing teams to ensure our brand voice is seamless and consistent across collateral, local packaging, merchandising, and digital assets.
What you’ll do:
In an environment characterized by multiple distribution points, we strive to maintain our brand identity, stand out, and speak clearly to our customers through impactful brand messaging. Collaborate with us and seamlessly integrate our brand DNA across every touchpoint, ensuring a consistent expression that upholds our elevated standards of luxury and brand awareness.
- Direct seasonal design development for cross-functional teams including merchandising displays (visuals, lightboxes, education vehicles), print materials (sample cards, booklets, and product maps), and packaging (gift set carton designs, PR mailers).
- Manage the design team including Junior Graphic Designer and Merchandising Designer, ensuring that the team’s creative direction meets brief objectives.
- Lead creative meetings including bi-weekly cross functional team meetings to facilitate project review & approval process. Ensure on-screen presentation and/or in-person mock-ups are prepared for the efficient reviewing process and feedback is captured.
- Partner with the project management team to assign work, ensure all projects are executed in a timely manner, and routing process is streamlined and efficient.
- Work with the purchasing team to ensure all development meets the highest level of quality for all creative work designed and that execution is consistent and within brand guidelines, budget, timelines, and sustainability goals.
You are:
- Familiar with retailer guidelines, restrictions and timelines.
- Adaptable to new environments, processes and team.
- Detail oriented, with consistency in design and execution.
- Able to manage multiple projects under fast-paced conditions with constant shifts of priorities.
- You are excellent at paying attention to, accuracy, and consistency in design and execution.
- Customer oriented, result driven, passionate about our brand and challenges, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Eager to grow in a company genuinely committed to responsible beauty.
You have:
- Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree.
- 10 years of creative experience with a strong aesthetic background in luxury and beauty.
- 3 years of team management experience.
- Substantial knowledge of 2D/3D production process, including retouching, pre-press, proofing, prototyping, and materials.
- Experience with creative integration across all media/sales channels.
- Knowledge of open sell merchandising (ULTA & Sephora) is preferred.
- Awareness of competitive landscape, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Professional presentation, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Negotiation skills to enforce brand guidelines across all touchpoints.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Ability to be hands-on with graphic design & comping.
- 2D design skills with an ability to think in 3D space.
