Do you want to help write the next chapter of our story? We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Supply Chain based in Orangeburg, New York.
The role :
You will manage a team of Supply and Demand Planners that study demand trends, and develop strategic changes to supply as well as inventory storage. You will engage in tasks such as analyzing local and global supply chain processes and procedures, assist in developing process enhancement strategies, and investigate shortfalls and issues.
What you’ll do :

This position will play a critical role in supporting the company’s strategy by managing the demand & supply planning.
- Lead and organize monthly end of year landing & monthly inventory review and lead cross functional activities to ensure budgeted dollars & demand plan units, demand plan validation is reconciled monthly. Gather insights through meetings for demand, supply, inventory and budget reviews for Executive S&OP meetings.
- Communicate current and future anticipated warehouse in stock issues; perform root cause analysis and process improvement to proactively mitigate stock outs.
- Manage days of supply goals at category level; manage forecasting of monthly & end of year inventory levels; negotiate transfers to and from USA with other Clarins subsidiaries.
- Ensure proper SOP documentation for USA Supply Chain and Inventory Operations; drive adherence to USA & Global SOPs and train, mentor, and coach planners; provide feedback on systems, processes, and procedures to improve overall business outcomes.
- Ensure steps are taken to mitigate write offs of expired, end of life, and one time purchases by way of sell thru analysis, collaboration, and strategy management.
