Position Overview:
We’re seeking a passionate and driven Head Chef / Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and elevate our food offerings. You’ll take full ownership of the kitchen, from menu design to daily execution, ensuring that every dish pairs perfectly with our craft beers and wines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative, seasonal menus that complement our craft beer and wine selections
- Lead and inspire kitchen staff, ensuring high morale and team development
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including scheduling, ordering, prep, and service
- Manage food costs, labor efficiency, and minimize waste without compromising quality
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards (ServSafe, HACCP, etc.)
- Coordinate with General Manager and Service Staff Leadership to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Uphold and enhance our brand’s reputation through culinary innovation and consistency
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of kitchen leadership experience in a high-volume or upscale casual environment
- Strong understanding of kitchen financials and cost control
- A creative mind with a deep appreciation for fresh, local ingredients
- Familiarity with wine and beer pairing preferred (or willingness to learn)
- ServSafe or similar food safety certification
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- A passion for hospitality, community, and culinary excellence
- Proficiency in MarginEdge software preferred
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) and Excel required
