This is a really good opportunity for someone who wants to live in Utah County. An existing associate is starting a practice and stepping out so you will be immediately busy taking over the patient base. This is the biggest and best practice in Pleasant Grove.
We are looking for someone who is fun and dedicated to the growth of the practice. You should be able to positively motivate a team to maximize your potential.
If you enjoy endodontics this is a golden opportunity as we have two practices that can refer endo to you! Currently we are referring out 1-2 root canals per day.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and a commitment to continuing education in the field of dentistry. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, focusing on comprehensive dental services for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to examinations, fillings, extractions, and preventive care.
- Provide pediatric dentistry services with a gentle approach to ensure comfort and trust among young patients.
- Conduct root canal therapy and other endodontic treatments with precision and care.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques throughout all procedures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Document patient treatment plans and progress using Open Dental
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices, including oral surgery techniques when necessary.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience or training in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in endodontics, particularly root canal therapy, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft is a plus.
- Strong understanding of infection control standards and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
