Electrical Counter Sales

Job Description:

As a Electrical Counter Sales Associate, you will play a fundamental role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and supporting day-to-day store operations. You will collaborate with the General Manager and local team to ensure accurate processing of incoming and outgoing products, manage inventory and maintain customer relationships. Your role will also involve learning about electrical products to better serve our diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level customer service with product expertise and strong selling skills.
• Address incoming customers, retrieve products, and follow up after completion of the sale.
• Understand customer needs and recommend products based on opportunities.
• Take and pull customer orders.
• Manage customer expectations by ensuring all commitments are met.
• Perform inventory management, including receiving and shipping products.
• Build and monitor the sales pipeline and contribute to achieving sales goals.
• Attend training sessions and department meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-5 years of related experience in electrical supply, customer service, counter sales, warehousing/distribution, or retail preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of electrical products is a plus but not required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.=
• Strong mathematical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Self-motivated with a strong customer service orientation and a powerful customer presence.
• Interest in career advancement and personal growth.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to bend, climb, push, pull, and maneuver in tight spaces.
• Operate computers and other office equipment.
• Ability to work in warehouse conditions, which may include exposure to heat, humidity, and loud noise levels on occasion.
