As an AM Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations by preparing high-quality dishes consistently and efficiently during breakfast and lunch service. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to execute menu items with precision, ensuring that each dish meets our standards of excellence.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
2. Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
3. Ensure that food preparation areas are clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
4. Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate execution of orders.
5. Monitor food levels and replenish supplies as needed.
6. Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
7. Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
8. Contribute creative ideas to menu development and daily specials.
9. Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including uniform standards and attendance requirements.
Requirements
1. Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
2. Proficiency in basic cooking techniques and knife skills.
3. Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends.
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
5. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
6. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
7. A culinary degree or certification is a plus but not required.
8. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
9. Flexibility to work in a variety of stations as needed.
10. Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.
