Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping team in delivering high-quality landscape maintenance and installation services. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, and maintaining the highest standards of quality in landscape care.
Responsibilities
· Manage personnel and coordinate job tasks to complete projects effectively and efficiently.
· Regularly communicate production goals with crew members and monitor progress
· Review all tools, equipment and machinery for needed maintenance.
· Maintain accurate job tickets and record all job expenses, including but not exclusively materials and hours worked.
· Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.
· Ensure proper (PPE) is being utilized at all times.
· Follow direction from AM/PM as applicable.
· Ensure that all actions follow safety rules and company safety policies.
· Communicates well with all crew members, supervisor, and clientele.
· Continuously looks to improve job skills and development.
· Monitors all tools, equipment, and machinery for needed maintenance.
· Maintain clean appearance including uniform, equipment and care of vehicle.
· Trains crew members to further develop skill set while performing various task
Perform other related duties as assigned or as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of gardening techniques, groundskeeping practices, and landscape design principles.
- Familiarity with tree care practices, irrigation systems, and lawn care methods.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.
- Valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
