Job Title - Sr Electrical Engineer - Exempt
Job Location -Virtual, Minnesota
Duration: 12 Months
Must Have
- 4 years of Electrical Product Development experience for Class II and/or Class III medical devices.
- Create and review Component specifications, Schematics, PCB artwork for medical devices
- Design and execute test methods to characterize Electromagnetic and RF performance, and verify adherence to standards, product and systems requirements
- Design and test Analog, Digital, Power and Bluetooth circuits for implantable and external Neurostimulator devices.
- Develop test protocols and execute protocols and generate reports.
- Experience in working in the medical device industry and adhering to regulatory standards such as 60601 and quality policies and standards
Nice To Have
- Ability to work with others internationally and travel globally
- Analysis of product performance using Design for Reliability and Manufacturability techniques and writing test reports.
- Plan and coordinate activities with cross functional teams (Released Product Engineering, Systems, Firmware, Mechanical and quality etc.)
- Work with Contract Manufacturer. Development of Manufacturer Test Requirement Specifications.
Job Description
- The Senior Electrical Engineer will be an individual contributor within the Medtronic Neuromodulation Electrical Product Development team.
- The individual will be responsible for all the phases of the product development including definition, design, troubleshooting, characterization and verification of implantable and external neurostimulators as well as patient programmers.
- The individual will be an integral part of the R&D organization in delivering the highest quality, life-changing technology to our patients.
- Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Research, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, and systems. Designs electrical equipment, components, products, and test systems for medical devices.
