Grove Transit is hiring a Community Transporter to join our team. As a Part-Time Weekend Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to various locations while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transporting passengers to appointments and other destinations
- Providing companionship and assistance as needed, including helping with mobility and securing wheelchairs when necessary
- Maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle
- Following all traffic laws and regulations
- Communicating effectively with passengers and their families, as well as other team members and management
- Other duties as assigned
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum age of 25 with 2 years of driving experience (does not have to be professional driving experience)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Friendly and patient personality
- Ability to push and secure a wheelchair
