SUMMARY: The Warehouse Lead is responsible for ensuring all production projects are completed in a timely manner, overseeing floor operations, as well as providing excellent customer service. The Warehouse Lead will also be responsible for training employees as well as overseeing shipping and receiving at the Indianapolis, IN warehouse location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described in this section are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While working as a Warehouse Lead, the employee will be regularly required to sit, see, talk, and hear. The employee will be required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel (including frequent use of manual dexterity for operating tools and equipment), and reach with hands and arms. The employee will be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand company Mission, Vision, and Values and be an ambassador of these principles.
- Lead, train, and coach additional warehouse staff to ensure requirements are met for production, fulfillment, and employee safety.
- Organize schedules to meet the demands of internal and external customers.
- Act as department communicator during status meetings, management updates, and staff changes.
- Resolve product or service problems by qualifying the issue; determining the cause of the issue; determining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; and, following up to ensure prompt resolution.
- Track and maintain inventory of products.
- Safely operate forklift, pallet jack, or handcart to move materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Minimum of 3 years in a logistics or warehousing leadership role
- Minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing an ERP/WMS system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience operating box truck/route truck
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
