Job Summary:

Landscape Installation Manager: Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all landscape construction projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This includes managing landscape installation and renovation projects, while supervising/training crews and collaborating with clients, vendors, and other landscape divisions. Drive a snowplow and manage a snow route during the winter.

Landscape Maintenance Manager: Responsible for overseeing maintenance accounts. Provide excellent customer service and ensure quality property maintenance. Diagnose landscape issues. Retain customers. Generate new sales and upsell existing customers. Drive a snowplow and manage a snow route during the winter.

Irrigation Tech: Troubleshoot irrigation issues. Adjust and repairs residential and commercial sprinkler systems. Drive a snowplow and manage a snow route during the winter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee landscaping projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and according to designs.
  • Coordinate with designers, clients, and others to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.
  • Review project scopes, budgets, and timelines, and adjust as needed to ensure successful project completion.
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments to optimize performance and resolve any issues that arise during the course of the project.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Supervise, train, and manage landscaping crews, ensuring they are equipped with the proper tools, materials, and skills to perform their work effectively.
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment, ensuring all team members follow safety guidelines and company policies.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, identifying opportunities for development and growth.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
  • Manage project budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring the timely delivery and quality of resources for each project.
  • Track and report on expenses, ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
  • Quality Control:
  • Ensure that all landscaping work meets company quality standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the quality of work and resolve any issues or deficiencies.
  • Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
  • Client Relations:
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or changes related to landscaping projects.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining open lines of communication and delivering high-quality results.
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding the progress and status of ongoing projects.
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure all projects are in compliance with local regulations, codes, and safety standards.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and tools, minimizing downtime and damage.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry safety protocols and ensure teams adhere to them at all times.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, and labor hours.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on project status, challenges, and any adjustments made to plans or schedules.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in landscaping or landscape management.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA certification or other safety-related training (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

Work Environment:

  • Outdoor work environments, including residential and commercial properties.
  • Occasionally, evening or weekend work may be required based on project deadlines and client needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
