SUMMARY
Groves Learning Organization is a non-profit organization that transforms lives through education. We build confidence, success, and purpose through transformative learning experiences. We are seeking Summer Program Student Assistants to support faculty in the classroom during the summer program. Each Student Assistant will be assigned 3 classrooms and will check in frequently or be readily available to assist where needed.

During the summer, we are pleased to offer students from the community a tailored, high-quality educational experience. Instruction at Groves is explicit, structured, and multi-modal. Teachers combine their experience and expertise with care and understanding, using a diagnostic-prescriptive approach to continually assess and address individual student needs.
Our summer programs employ our proven philosophy of developing strengths and talents, remediating academic weaknesses, and tailoring instruction to meet individual needs. We offer programs for children entering grades 2-8 who have learning and/or attention disorders, such as dyslexia and ADHD

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Graduate
- Demonstrated interest or experience in working with students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and ADHD
- Working knowledge of positive reinforcement and positive behavior supports
- Ability to follow directions and use office equipment efficiently
- Ability to keep information regarding the students including names, performance, disabilities, etc. confidential
