What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Middle/High School Interventionist position at Groveton High School?
Position Overview:
The Full-Time Interventionist will be responsible for providing targeted academic support to students at Groveton Middle High School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educational interventions, a passion for student success, and the ability to work closely with students, teachers, and parents to improve academic performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data collection and analysis as well as experience working with data teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
NH Teaching License in a related field
Proven experience working with middle and high school students in an academic support or intervention role.
Knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies, Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS Model), assessment tools, and progress monitoring techniques.
A strong understanding of middle and high school curriculum.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with students who have diverse academic needs.
Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Experience working with students with learning disabilities or other academic challenges is a plus.
