Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and fostering relationships with potential clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical sales, particularly within the furniture, home decoration and lighting sector, and have a passion for developing strategies that enhance our market presence.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify potential new businesses, determine who the decision makers and heads of the e-commerce departments are within the target organizations.
- Lead generation: build, gather and collate names, contact information of the decision makers or sales team leads of the targeted new businesses
- Appointment setting: establish connections with the target organizations through email, outbound calls and through other means of communication
- Negotiation: represent the company in discussions with potential new businesses. Provide proposals to prospective clients
- Closing: securing new businesses on behalf of the client with previously agreed upon parameters
- Utilize tools such as Mailchimp, Hubspot, Replyify and other related platforms in the conduct of building new business
- Built and maintain a list of potential clients and corresponding contact information for future reference
- Regularly meet with management to establish changes or updates in new business goals and recalibrate as needed
