The Opportunity
As the Store Manager of our recreational dispensary, you will define the strategic direction and implement proven strategies to grow and continually improve our operations. Your challenge is to manage and grow an innovative team that will scale our dispensary operations across Minnesota. The work you do will enrich and build our community, promoting a healthy and responsible cannabis culture.
What You Get to Do
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry changes, trends, and best practices.
- Compliance: Ensures that processes and procedures are compliant to internal policies and standards as well as State and Mille Lacs Band regulations. Ensures compliant processes related to inventory reporting, employee reporting, patient reporting, and packaging. Report violations and oversee systems like METRC and customer records.
- Policy Review: Modify policies to comply with changes in standards or regulations.
- Internal Investigations: Conduct or direct investigations of compliance issues.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Oversee store budget and reporting.
- Operational Oversight: Manage and supervise the daily activities of the dispensary, including staffing, opening and closing procedures, daily cash verifications and recordings, store delivery, transfers, and inventory management, as well as customer service.
- Staff Management: Recruit, retain, and support quality staff. Train employees on cannabis products, sales techniques, and compliance regulations.
- Inventory Management: Oversee ordering and inventory systems, ensuring quality product inventory and financial records.
- Customer Experience: Ensure the dispensary is clean, well-organized, and offers a positive customer experience. Builds and increases customer retention, fosters customer relationships, and develops brand awareness and loyalty. Provides escalated guidance to customers as needed including resolving customer complaints.
- Community Engagement: Act as an advocate for the company, listen to clients and the community, and serve as a spokesperson.

What Qualifies You
- Bachelor's degree or three (3) years of relevant experience at a management administrative level with an emphasis on employee relations, talent management, and retail.
- 8 years of customer service and/or sales experience
- Must be able to secure a license from the Regulatory Agency.
- Responsible for following all relevant Cannabis Regulations.
- Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
