The Opportunity
This position is a temporary position (approx. 20 hrs per week) that will assist with the licensing process and will participate in license applications, and research. This role requires an ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong communication skills are essential. To be successful in this role, previous licensing processing is a must.
What You Get to Do
- Ensure all license applications are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate and complete data entry in all our license and compliance management software.
- Review, understand and communicate federal, state and local requirements pertaining to licensing and backgrounding.
- Collaborate with internal teams as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

What Qualifies You (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:)
- Five (5) years' experience in applicant licensing.
- Five (5) years’ working in a regulatory capacity
- Extensive experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) emphasis on Excel
- Must be able to secure license from Regulatory Agency
- Responsible for following all relevant Cannabis Regulations
- Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
