Job Summary
The Driver is responsible for transporting plants from and to various locations at Growers Transplanting Inc. safely and according to State, Federal and company regulations that govern the safe operation of equipment over public roads.
Essential Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload truck with pallets and bins.
- Safely drive and deliver plants at all assigned locations.
- Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns.
- Update logbooks up to date in compliance with DOT requirement.
- Maintains shipping bills of lading and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete.
- Comply with all State, Federal & company procedures & laws regulating the operation of equipment.
- Performs all duties in accordance with environmental, food safety, safety rules and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

The salary range provided reflects the lowest to highest amount we reasonably anticipate paying for this position at the time of posting. Compensation is influenced by labor market conditions and various factors, including but not limited to : the prevailing minimum wage in the area, relevant education, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, sales or revenue targets, and business needs.
