Responsibilities

- Teach a range of subjects, including literacy education, to students in preschool
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of our students
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
- Manage a classroom environment that promotes respect, discipline, and inclusivity
- Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods
- Participate in school events and activities, such as sports and arts programs
- Foster a love for physical education and provide opportunities for students to engage in sports and physical activities
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with educational trends and best practices

Skills

- Experience working with students of varying ages and abilities
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
- Experience with Montessori or similar educational approaches
- Knowledge of literacy education and a commitment to promoting literacy among students
- Toddler care experience
- Ability to work effectively in a private school setting
- Strong physical education skills
- Ability to create a safe and nurturing classroom environment
- Experience with private school curricula and standards
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with educational trends and best practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
