Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our heavy civil construction company. The ideal candidate will be energetic and a go-getter with a positive, happy attitude. Clean driving record with zero accidents. Driver will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. We are a construction company, and knowledge of local relevant stores (Sunbelt, Whitecap, Fowler, Pape) is helpful. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism in all aspects of delivery operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a truck to deliver products to designated locations. This might include towing a water buffalo or a traffic control arrowboard.
• Perform route driving efficiently and safely while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.
• We are a growing company and may not always have 40 hours of delivery. When not driving, tasks might include organizing our staging yard or helping with office tasks.
• Will need to pass drug screening.

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. A clean, zero accident driving record is mandatory.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills is essential.
• Experience with heavy lifting and operating pallet jacks and forklift.
• Reiterating that a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
