Job Title: Service Manager
About the Role: As the Service Manager, you'll lead our HVAC service operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Your role is crucial in driving operational efficiency, technician performance, and growth in our service department. You’ll oversee a team of field technicians, and work with dispatchers ensuring seamless operations and outstanding service delivery.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading all aspects of the HVAC service operations, including field technicians, dispatch, and customer support teams, to meet annual revenue and profit targets.
- Developing and implementing KPIs and metrics to streamline processes, enhance quality control, and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Overseeing and maintaining a high renewal rate on service agreements through proactive customer engagement and relationship management.
- Establishing quality assurance processes and continuously improving service delivery standards.
- Collaborating with HR to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the service department.
- Managing the departmental budget, creating strategies to enhance profitability and efficiency.
- Coordinating closely with sales and operations teams to develop comprehensive growth strategies and operational improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with company standards and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
About You:
- You have experience maintaining and repairing chillers, boilers, pumps, and large tonnage RTUs
- You bring at least 10 years of experience in the HVAC industry, specifically in a service organization.
- You have excellent communication skills and can build rapport with team members and clients at all organizational levels.
- You're an organized, strategic thinker who excels at multitasking and prioritizing tasks in high-pressure environments.
- You have a proven ability to analyze processes and implement KPIs for improved performance and customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Qualifications:
- 5 years of progressive leadership experience in HVAC, construction, or facilities services.
