Salary : $13 to $16 hourly
Growing Kids Learning Center in Plymouthmay just be the right place for you if you want to make a difference and teach young children. We're seeking multiple Part-Time Afternoon Child Care Preschool Teacher Assistance (12 pm to 6 pm) and 2 Full Time Float Teachers to aid with multiple age groups. Must have a passion for educating children, having fun, and building great relationships. We assist teachers in implementing our research-based curriculum in a way that meets each child's needs. Preschool teacherssupport the learning, development, and health of young children.Their responsibilities include :
- Planning -Create daily activity plans that align with the school curriculum and focus on different areas of child development.Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment
- Teaching -Engage children in age-appropriate activities that are educational and fun, such as reading stories, playing, using art, and going on field trips.Organizes, designs and leads activities to promote physical, mental, and social development.
- Managing -Maintain a clean and safe classroom, manage classroom activities like lessons, breaks, meals, and play, and enforce rules of behavior.
- Supporting -Help children reach developmental milestones, learn basic skills like identifying colors and shapes, and build their sense of identity and belonging
- Communicating -Develop positive relationships with children and parents, and communicate with parents about their child's progress and development
