  • Position : Network and Systems Engineer

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network and Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a superb technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, superior communication skills (verbal and written) for C-suite executives and business leadership, enhanced time management skills, and a passion for maintaining and optimizing network systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your contributions will directly impact our clients' success.

    Core Responsibilities :

  • Network Management : Design, implement, and manage complex Servers, virtual machines, domain controllers, network infrastructure for various clients including data storage, backup, and disaster recovery protocols.
  • System Administration : Regular oversight on the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems - exceptional knowledge of Windows 10 / 11, MacOS including desktops, Servers - WS Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and applications - Office 365, Azure, MS Entra ID, and Active Directory.
  • Security : Implement best practices for network and systems security, including working knowledge of Cloud services, firewalls, Hyper-V, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Client Support : Provide technical support, including escalated tickets from Tier 1 and 2 teams, guidance to clients, ensuring prompt resolution of issues, including some break / fix issues, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead Projects : Lead technical projects including infrastructure upgrades, migrations, new client onboarding, and software implementation.
  • Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, system setups, and troubleshooting procedures on each customer.
  • Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Utilize Tools : Utilize PSA software to document, track, schedule, and escalate ticket requests and RMM tools.
  • Mentorship : Mentor or coach Tier 1 / 2 as needed.
  • Collaboration : Work directly with ownership on technology strategies.
  • Minimum Qualifications and Skills :

  • Proven experience as a Network and Systems Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong working knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Relevant experience with network security practices and tools.
  • Proficiency in system administration, including Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Proficiency with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management skills and operate as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator) are a plus.
  • Min 2 years, preferably 4-year Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science and Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • What We Offer :

  • Competitive Annual base salary of $60,000 - $80,000.00.
