Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Foster a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Educate children on basic concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes through interactive activities.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their child's development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Provide first aid when necessary and ensure the health and safety of all children in your care.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily activities and any concerns that may arise.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children from birth to 12 months is essential; experience in daycare or babysitting is also valuable.
- Experience in infant care or nannying can enhance your candidacy for this role.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
