About Growing MindsGrowing Minds is a small, client-centered practice that focuses on empowering children and families through engaging, individualized therapy. We specialize in speech sound disorders, early childhood speech-language development, social-pragmatic language, and executive functioning.
Responsibilities:π― Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans
π― Provide child-led therapy to support speech and language development
π― Work with EI & school-age children with speech, language, executive functioning, and social-pragmatic challenges
π― Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support
π― Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
π― Adapt therapy approaches to meet the individual needs and strengths of each child
Qualifications:β ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
β Licensed to practice in New York State
β Experience with early childhood and school-age populations
β Strong background in play-based, child-led therapy approaches
β Experience with executive functioning and social-pragmatic language therapy
β Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a flexible, growing practice
β Passion for helping children and families thrive
