About the Role :
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Group Growth Leaders to join our School Age Program at Growing Minds Youth Development II in Bronx, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and contribute to their growth and development in a fun and supportive environment.
Responsibilities :
Supervise and engage with children in group activities
Plan and implement age-appropriate and stimulating activities
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program
Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members
Assist with homework and provide academic support
Requirements :
Prior experience working with children 5-12 years of age in a group setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a positive and nurturing environment
High school diploma or equivalent
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
