PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

 

Responsible for providing customer service.  Maintaining and growing a portfolio of operating lines of credit for agricultural producer clients.  Provide marketing assistance to increase customer satisfaction and maintain the reputation and profitability of Ag-Land FS.

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Helps compile loan packages.  Submits loan package within specified limits and refers to committee for approval.

 

Supports tracking/reporting of Agri Finance activity.

 

Assists with a monthly draw to customers loans.

 

Provides quality customer service to walk-in customers and on the phone.

 

Responds to customer information requests or inquiries involving agricultural operating lines of credit.

 

Assists department managers in maintaining current pricing and communicating pricing to other department staff.

 

Supports department managers in assigned project-based work both in a team-oriented environment and independently.

 

Assists in tracking current inventory and inventory position (booking) records for all products.

 

Coordinates supplier incentive programs.

 

Directs research activities concerned with gathering information or with compilation of statistics pertinent to planning and execution of sales promotion campaigns.

 

Provides regular and requested reports from the Marketing Managers.

 

Prepare marketing and sales communications.

 

Cross-trains and serves as backup for other administrative positions as assigned.

 

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

 

May be required to maintain customer information.

 

Occasionally may be asked to drive and run local errands as requested.

 

Prepare necessary yearly mailings to customer base

 

Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Normally requires an Associate’s Degree in a business-related field, or the equivalent thereof, and 4 - 5 years or more of office related work experience to demonstrate advanced knowledge of professional communication skills, typing proficiency and Microsoft Office programs.

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

 

Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

 

Microsoft Office background with a minimum of intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

 

Must be able to work hours beyond those considered “normal.”
