PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Responsible for the technical administration and support of IT Portfolio assigned application(s) and to provide guidance to each business unit on how the application(s) can be utilized to provide the maximum benefit.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Consult with Mgr, Accounting Portfolio on changes needed for technical administration and configuration of assigned IT-Portfolio assigned application(s) and be responsible for making changes.
Provide assistance to all users of assigned application(s), IT Application Support and work directly with the software vendor to ensure users receive support that exceeds their expectations.
Assist with the project management for IT-Portfolio, acts as backup for project manager and responsible for leading pieces of bigger projects.
Creates, maintains, and distributes documentation and manuals to users on assigned software application and hardware.
Responsible for providing training for new users, refresher courses for existing users and for enhancements/new feature to all users on assigned application(s).
Responsible for the development, testing, error detection, implementation and training for the timely release of assigned application(s). Work directly with the software vendor to resolve any issues before new application versions are released.
Responsible for tracking any known defects and working with the software vendor to make sure they are resolved in a timely manner.
Coordinates with others in IT-Portfolio to ensure alignment and coordination of all technology and software systems both with GROWMARK and at the retail level.
Gain an understanding of various business units to help them understand how to maximize IT-Portfolio supported applications.
Assist with the tracking of software licenses agreements for assigned IT-Portfolio assigned application(s).
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists in the evaluation of new software, associated hardware and services to be offered to end users.
Attend training classes, seminars and conferences as required to maintain software knowledge.
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a bachelor’s degree in information systems/technology, business or the equivalent thereof, and 2 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of Information Technology.
Expereince with ServiceNow administration or comparable ticketing system is ideal.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record and passport with the ability to work extended hours and travel as needed.
Must be able to obtain and maintain any required certifications.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
