GTI Energy is seeking a Facilities Manager for their new facility in Goodyear, AZ. The Facilities Manager is responsible for all facility as well as machine upgrades and maintenance. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role will work alongside other managers within the plant to ensure that facility operations and upgrades support project goals and demands.
Responsibilities :
- Facility Maintenance : Oversee the general upkeep of the manufacturing plant, ensuring all building systems, such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and lighting, are functioning properly. Perform regular inspections and manage the maintenance and repair of the facility’s infrastructure. Ensure that all facilities are clean and free of debris at all times.
Equipment Maintenance : Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all plant equipment, including machinery, production lines, conveyors, and automated systems, to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Troubleshooting & Repairs : Lead and perform troubleshooting and repairs on facility equipment, machinery, and systems when malfunctions or breakdowns occur. Ensure repairs are completed quickly and efficiently to minimize disruptions to production.
Preventive Maintenance Programs : Establish and enforce a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for both facility systems and equipment to maximize reliability and lifespan. Track maintenance schedules and performance through maintenance management software.
Vendor Management : Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized equipment repairs, parts procurement, and facility services. Ensure vendors meet quality standards and service level agreements.
Safety & Compliance : Ensure all facility systems and equipment meet safety and regulatory standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
Emergency Repairs & Response : Lead emergency response efforts for critical equipment failures or facility system breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime and quick restoration of operations.
Asset Management : Maintain accurate records of all equipment, maintenance work performed, and parts inventory. Ensure proper documentation for all repairs, upgrades, and equipment replacements.
Budget & Resource Management : Manage the upkeep budget for both facility systems and equipment. Identify areas for cost savings, such as extending equipment life, optimizing repair costs, and reducing waste.
Team Supervision & Development : Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and janitorial personnel. Provide training and guidance to ensure staff is well-equipped to perform maintenance tasks and respond to issues quickly and efficiently.
