Security Patrol Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Patrol Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate surveillance equipment to ensure comprehensive coverage of premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and access points to ensure security measures are in place.
• Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Document incidents and prepare detailed reports for management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed for investigations or emergencies.

Requirements

• Valid security guard license or certificate as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to walk and patrol a 530,000 square foot facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in law enforcement or military service
• Bilingual (Spanish and English)
• Additional Security certifications
• Additional security training

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
