Job Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Supply chain Coordinator to help the Supply Chain team in Buffalo in administrative tasks. You will be responsible for assisting in RFQ, paperwork, document transmission, data entry, and communication with suppliers.
The ideal candidate is willing to learn Supply Chain Management, Vendor relation, and Computer / Basic office skills – calculator and computer operations, basic math skills. The person acts as a liaison between GTI Fabrication and suppliers.
Responsibilities :
- Preparing and submitting required documentation to and from suppliers.
- Clean communicational skill (both verbal and written).
- Calculating and processing RFQ.
- Obtaining, preparing, and processing necessary documentation from vendors.
- Data entry in QuickBooks / Excels.
- Expediting with suppliers based on delivery schedules.
- Advising GTI leadership on any potential product delays, service deficiencies or quality failure modes.
- Communicating with clients, Sourcing Specialist, and shipping team to ensure smooth handling of shipments
- Provide status of critical shipments and notifying Leadership in Operations team on arrival
- Resolving any issues that may arise during the production and shipping process
- Follow up on specific projects based on Program Management work sheet.
- Keeping accurate records in compliance with GTI Supply Chain requirement / QMS.
