Job Overview
As a Project Manager, you will be pivotal in steering our e-commerce design team towards success. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient and effective project execution within the design team, which includes senior designers, a design director, a lead designer, an art director, a content strategist & copywriter, and a UX team with two researchers. You will work cross-functionally with product managers to assist in the execution of product initiatives utilizing design resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day project activities to meet business objectives, coordinating with a diverse team including designers, strategists, and UX researchers.
- Ensure tickets in Jira have background info and acceptance criteria, and team members have requirements to complete the task.
- Collaborate with product managers to ensure the design backlog is prioritized and sequenced to product initiatives.
- Monitor and enforce timelines related to ticket resolutions, align the team’s plan to the product sprint, and ensure project milestones are met.
- Identify and address gaps and inefficiencies in the current process, collaborating with the team for continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement new processes to enhance productivity and efficiency within the team.
- Serve as a liaison between the design team and the Technical Program Manager, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team, product management, and external stakeholders.
