Job Description

We are searching for an ambitious go-getter who welcomes the challenge of meeting the needs of a hyper-growth startup. As a Senior Machine Learning Scientist specializing in Forecasting & Signals, you will be at the core of Growth Protocol’s AI initiatives, developing models that anticipate market dynamics and inform strategic decisions. Your work will directly influence our platform's capabilities, client outcomes, and the company's direction.

You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Backend Engineers, and business stakeholders to design and implement predictive models that process vast amounts of structured and unstructured data, enabling proactive insights across multiple industries.

Responsibilities:

Collaboration:

• Work closely with Data Engineers to translate business and ML requirements into robust data workflows.
• Ensure timely delivery of accurate, reliable forecasts to support product development and client strategies.

Technical Development:

• Develop and manage scalable forecasting models using frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Design and implement high-performance algorithms for time-series analysis and predictive analytics.
• Operationalize machine learning models, focusing on deployment, reliability, and performance.

Monitoring & Reliability

• Create and manage real-time monitoring systems for model performance and data integrity.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues to maintain high levels of system reliability and accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Machine Learning or Data Science
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Experience building forecasting models with robust validation and testing
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Hands-on experience operationalizing ML models in production
• Deep understanding of time-series analysis, data modeling, and predictive analytics
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on enterprise products serving Fortune 500 clients across Financial Services, Consumer Products, and Retail
• Prior startup experience
• Strong knowledge in AI/ML, NLP, and Data Science workflows
• Interest in current events, market dynamics, and emerging technologies
