We are seeking an experienced and tech-savvy Automotive Sales Consultant. This position will assist clients from the beginning to the end of purchasing and owning New & Pre-Owned Vehicles.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, previous sales experience in the automotive industry (Infiniti preferred), excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, and great communication skills. He or she must be self-motivated with a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota (or more!) on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities:
Utilize cutting-edge technology to enhance customer interactions and streamline the sales process.
Prospect for new and current clients.
Develops buyers by building a strong rapport with customers and working to achieve a long-lasting relationship.
Qualifies buyers by understanding buyers' requirements and interests; Suggests and matches interests to various models.
Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating prices; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collecting payment; delivers automobiles.
Work with the F&I Team to resolve any outstanding contracts or incomplete deals.
Ability to meet, maintain, and exceed monthly sales goals.
Provide sales management analysis by completing reports.
Have continuous knowledge of products and market trends.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in automotive sales with a successful track record
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) Preferred
Must be a self-starter and proactive
Commitment to excellence and high standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals
Proficient in computer technology including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
