Accounting Warranty Clerk - Automotive Dealership

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Warranty Clerk to join our team! This role is responsible for submitting warranty purchases and processing cancellations accurately and efficiently.

Our ideal candidate has at least one year of experience as a Warranty Clerk in an automotive dealership, with a strong understanding of automotive accounting workflows. Candidates must be able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills. Experience with Tekion and brands such as Infiniti/Nissan, Acura/Honda, and Volvo is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Process cancellations of extended warranties and insurance policies
• Ensure all required documents are collected for cancellations
• Accurately calculate and process refunds
• Post general ledger entries in a timely and accurate manner
• Reconcile statements for all cancellations
• Maintain clean and organized accounting schedules
• Address customer and vendor inquiries professionally
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all transactions
• Communicate with managers regarding financial impacts
• Assist with other accounting duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of automotive dealership accounting workflows
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial records accurately
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Intermediate Excel skills, including the ability to upload spreadsheet templates
• Ability to work professionally and collaborate well with team members
