Job Details
The Express Technician services vehicles as assigned by management following all established standards and procedures, which include rotating tires, performing multi-point inspections, and changing automotive fluids. He or she checks the oil, tire pressure and condition, filters, windshield wiper fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, transmission, and differential fluids, and engine coolant. We deliver the highest quality service while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience. Some automotive training and/or experience with automotive repair is a plus. An unrestricted driver's license a clean driving record and strong physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done are required. He or she must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world-class customer service. State-certified inspectors a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and carrying out Repair Orders as dispatched
- Perform entry-level maintenance including oil changes, tire, filter, wiper replacements, fluid exchanges, etc.
- Performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs on entry-level maintenance
- Providing labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services
- Performing video multi-point inspections on vehicles.
- Performing Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete
- Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services including data in the dealer management system.
- Maintaining an organized, clean workspace and accounting for dealership and personal tools at all times
- Communicating directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees
- Participating in continual Infiniti proprietary training/education programs to hone skills and develop expertise in industry-leading Infiniti automotive technologies and processes

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of relevant experience preferred
- Knowledge of automotive servicing or repair is highly desired
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
- Highly professional and dependable
- Safety and customer service-oriented
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Certification as a state inspector is a plus
