Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machinery installation, maintenance, and repair. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical systems operate efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with other tradespeople to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions that enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in industrial settings.
- Fabricate components as needed to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while performing duties.
- Analyze mechanical problems and develop effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Other responsibilities as applicable, depending on individual projects.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role in an industrial environment is required.
- Proficiency in English for clear communication with team members and clients.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to machinery operation and maintenance is required.
Requirements
- Must complete random drug testing.
- Must have a good work ethic and desire to produce high quality product for our clients.
- Must be punctual and maintain a good attendance record.
- Must be self-motivated and stay productive.
- Must be committed to safety and shop cleanliness.
- Must have a positive attitude and be able to work with a team.
- Must be able to work overtime when needed.
- Must be willing to learn new skills.
- Must be able to work in all conditions; extreme hot, cold, standing, kneeling, etc.
