What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Service Representative position at Gruda Veterinary Hospital?
Progressive, fast paced, nine-doctor veterinary practices is looking to add an energetic, motivated individual to our wonderful customer service team! We offer a wide range of services from orthopedic surgeries, general surgeries, dentistry, ultrasounds, chiropractic, acupuncture and preventative care. The ideal candidate should be superior at client communication, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment while being calm and compassionate while working with the team, clients and their pets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, quality care to both clients and patients.
- Receive incoming calls on a multi-line phone system. *Must be able to retain knowledge on how to handle/screen emergency calls and situations and do so in a calm, respectful manner.
- Schedule appointments and procedures.
- Facilitate communication of medical recommendations to clients via email, text and phone between clients, doctors and other team members.
- Check-in patients/clients, collect payments at time of service.
- Understand/utilize medical terminology in a professional communication manner between colleagues, team members and clients.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties including working off of an electronic practice management system (Cornerstone).
- Must be able to efficiently manage different forms that may contain confidential client/patient information.
Qualifications/Skills:
- 2 years of Customer service experience required.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments.
- Possession of strong organizational skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Veterinary experience is preferred.
- Must be able to lift 30lbs.
- Love for people and animals are required.
Work Schedule:
Full-time candidate would be working an average of 40 hours per week. Daily shifts are 10 hours while working 4 days a week. The clinic is open Monday-Saturday from 7:30am-5:30pm. Saturdays are rotated between the team.
