Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer focused individual to fill an open Fire Sprinkler Inspector role in our Orlando, FL location. As the Fire Sprinkler Inspector your role consists of the day-to-day activities that help us accomplish our goal of servicing customers through the inspection, testing, maintenance, and installation and modifications of fire sprinkler, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems throughout Central Florida.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality courteous service, and by applying experience, knowledge, training and great communication.
- Thoroughly complete inspections in a timely manner as scheduled and interface with Inspection Coordinator to ensure that the customer receives the work per proposed scope.
- Utilizes an online scheduling system to receive and understand the individual scheduled tasks, customer locations, and maintain other company documents as required (timesheets, safety audits, etc.)
- Maintain positive customer relationships and review inspection results with customer.
- Turn in required paperwork at completion of each work order.
- Use of phone and computers, tablets to process daily inspection reports.
- Maintain equipment, supplies and company vehicle (if supplied) in good working order.
- Study and learn NFPA standards for the inspection and testing of Fire Protection Systems.
- Stay current with code requirements, industry changes, and obtain NICET Level II certifications.
- Desire to cross train and learn other life safety fields - Fire Alarm - Special Hazards
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
