Peerless Pump Company, a Grundfos subsidiary, is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our Supply Chain team. The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for the scheduling of appropriate production activities, analyzing, evaluating, and calculating optimum inventory control elements supporting an MTO/ETO pump manufacturing facility.
This position reports directly to our materials Manager and will operate out of the Indianapolis, IN facility in a hybrid function.
Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.

Peerless Pump Company, a Grundfos subsidiary, is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our Supply Chain team. The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for the scheduling of appropriate production activities, analyzing, evaluating, and calculating optimum inventory control elements supporting an MTO/ETO pump manufacturing facility.

Your main responsibilities:
- Owning the schedule to the customer for all sales line on order.
- Main point of communication between customer service and floor production.
- Manage status of all assigned product family orders and take action on any deviation from promised schedule.
- Collaborating with buyers, customer service, production, engineering, and other departments to ensure a production order is delivered on-time to promise date.
- Escalating concerns which show an order at risk.
- Timely generation of Production Orders for all Production order driven product lines to meet demands of MRS, MRP and final assembly schedule. Prioritize work to production floor.
- Partner with Buyers/Branch Personnel to maintain the optimum inventory levels, increase inventory turns and reduce the past due order backlog.
- Active participation in process improvement teams.
- Measure and control output to supervision as required by providing metrics.
- Facilitating meetings with stores and floor production when in plant.
We imagine that you have:
- This position requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of successful tactical purchase
- High school education with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience will be considered.
- Highly organized and good at following up.
- Will be required to communicate in a professional manner, with both internal and external stakeholders.
- High time management skills with a sense of urgency.
- Real computer skills (Excel, Word, Microsoft 365).
- Performs effectively in environments characterized by continual change and activity.
- Thorough and pays attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge off and experience working with MRP.
- Experience with MM and PP module in SAP preferred.
- Experience from a manufacturing background preferred.
- Collaborates effectively with colleagues.
