What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at Grupo 365?
- Safe operation of forklift or other warehouse equipment
- Loading / Unloading of cargo from trailers, containers, flatbeds, or other commercial vehicle
- Put-away and stack cargo (pallets, containers, racks, cartons, etc.)
- Stage cargo according to load orders
- Promptly report and record damages to arriving cargo
- Fulfill forklift safety checklist prior to operating forklift
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment (floor and forklift)
- Report any damages to equipment (forklift or other)
- Perform inventory counts
- Repackaging to different containers (cartons, bins, etc) or repairs to damaged packaging as necessary
Qualifications
- Forklift Operator License must be current and valid
- Capable and experience stacking up to 5 rows high
- Good reading, writing, and overall communication skills
- Capability of working out basic mental arithmetic
- Positive attitude, dependability, ability to follow directions, capable team participant
- Adhere to company's security criteria
- Capable of standing for long periods of time and lifting 50 lbs
Job Type: Full-time
