What are the responsibilities and job description for the INGP03-Supervisor Shift Section (LVL - C Crew) position at Grupo Antolin Louisville (LVL)?
The production supervisor must help meet company goals. Functions / Tasks include :
Responsible to ensure the Production Operator meets the minimum requirements for this position.
Responsible for communicating needs to the production team members
Offer suggestions and improves to process and quality
Responsible for filling required production reports correctly & completely.
Place team members in position that are best for the company.
Enforce housekeeping rules
Enforce Safety Rules and regulations and to make sure to report any unsafe working conditions
Fill out Safety Incident Reports when needed
Enforce the Quality Policy
Responsible for helping training employees and help motivate, coach, evaluate, and counsel them.
Enforce Policy and Procedures when needed (fill out disciplinary action forms)
Fill out Daily Manning Sheets
Ensure production schedules are being ran
Receive all production SAP / R3 paperwork and verify completion
SAP Knowledge is a plus
Understand the different problem solving methods (8D, 5 Why’s)
Automotive plant experience desired, but not required
2 years of Supervisory Experience required
Physical demands require standing, working in manufacturing plant environment, walking manufacturing plant floor multiple times daily, bending, reaching, stooping, wearing safety glasses and other required personal protection equipment, talking, working long hours and overtime, including weekends and holidays as required.
