ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
- Checks IDs on all personnel that have access to cargo and SIDA area.
- Ensures cargo accepted for All Cargo Flights is checked according to TSA regulations (ACISP).
- Completes reports as required for TSA AUDITS
- Checks seals and opens trucks, takes pictures of all High-Value Shipments,
- Informs CCTV of all High-Value Shipments' arrival.
- Using the Walk Through or Handheld Metal Detectors
- Using an X-Ray scanner
- Must challenge all MDAD Badge holder
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, LICENSE, and/or CERTIFICATION
- Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have Security D License issued by the State of Florida
- Must pass a criminal background check as well as a drug screen prior to employment
- Must have schedule flexibility for the weekend, holiday, and night shifts
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push and pull for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment
- The ability to work and communicate with all levels of Operations and management.
- Should possess a work style and conduct that is approachable and hospitable, while motivated to achieve results.
