Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the functions of Human Resources, Purchasing, and Finance. This full-time position is based primarily in Columbus, Ohio, and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage files, documents, and office records efficiently.
- Provide exceptional phone, email, and correspondence management services.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements as needed.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents for stakeholders.
- Maintain office supplies, coordinate purchasing, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Support recruitment processes, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure up-to-date HR documentation.
- Aid in onboarding and training new employees, ensuring a seamless transition into the team.
- Assist with payroll processing, attendance tracking, and financial record-keeping tasks.
- Coordinate activities and events to promote employee engagement and team building.
- Aid in sourcing vendors, obtaining quotes, and preparing purchase requisitions.
- Maintain supplier relationships, ensure timely deliveries, and track invoices.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payments, transactions, and compliance with SAP software.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in HR, Purchasing, or Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and written/oral communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
