The Opportunity
As a Diesel Mechanic with Tradebe, you will perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, tankers, and other various types of commercial vehicles at our truck stop in Meriden, CT.
You will be working on the first shift (8AM-5PM) and you must be able to supply your own tools for this position.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Follow all regulations, standards, and internal policies, to ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
- Perform annual / FHWA inspections on commercial vehicles
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, as well as assisting other mechanics on various assigned tasks
- Utilize computers for diagnostics, and various computer software systems
- Accurately complete all task related paperwork
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
