Opportunity Highlights
Starting Pay : $18 an hour
After 90 day : $18.50 an hour
Shift differential : $1.25
Operators Pay : $1.00
Shift : Sunday and Monday 11 : 00PM-7 : 30AM; Friday and Saturday 11 : 00PM-11 : 30AM
The Opportunity
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in drum storage and processing areas at a Tradebe plant, ensuring the proper handling, staging, and processing of materials in compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Uphold Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance by ensuring all operations adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies, while fostering a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
- Unload incoming trailers and process waste streams
- Place or locate material in proper staging / storage areas
- Prepare material for processing operations
- Perform processing operations as needed
- Accurately track drum storage, and handle movements on tracking sheets as needed
- Required to perform daily inspections on the forklifts
- Simple maintenance activities such as cleaning and adding fluids are required
Qualifications
- Experience operating a forklift
- Knowledge of the hazardous waste industry is a plus
- Ability to read, understand and apply common operational documents and SOPs
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts
- Ability to define problems are required.
- Ability to wear respirator as needed (requires face being clean shaved)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check is required
