The Opportunity
This is a working supervisor role that will be working side by side with Mechanics, Welders, and Technicians. You will be there to supervise performance and train as needed.
Key Job Responsibilities
Uphold Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance by ensuring all operations and maintenance personnel adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies, while fostering a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.Serve as a working supervisor, overseeing the performance and activities of the Maintenance personnel on shift.Assign tasks to employees and monitor their activities, ensuring maintenance area is neat and organizedSupervise the preventive maintenance and repairs of all plant equipmentCoordinate all major projects, ex. shut downsManage the organization of maintenance shop and parts trailerOversee mobile equipment maintenance i.e., forklift, track and back hoes and assist the Maintenance Manager to ensure parts and supplies are in inventoryMaintain working knowledge of plant equipmentWelding, if qualifiedPipe fittingOperate plant equipment and repair plant equipmentAssist in performing daily inspectionsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required3 to 5 years of mechanical experiencePrevious supervisory experience is a plus.Ability to work independently and multi-task with little to minimal supervisionAbility to read equipment prints; secure information from OEM manuals; apply basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and read, understand and apply common operational documents, SOP's, and training modulesAbility to drive a forkliftMust possess a basic set of toolsThe ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check, are requiredAbility to work the schedule for which you are hired forAbility to work on-site as described in the job descriptionAbility to read, write, and understand EnglishWhy Tradebe is Right for You
