Join Tradebe Environmental Services as an Environmental Approvals Manager and lead the optimization of waste management strategies across four treatment plants. With your expertise in regulatory compliance and a deep understanding of facility capabilities, you'll ensure waste moves from customer sites to our facilities in a compliant and safe manner, all while optimizing transportation and disposal costs. Based in Meriden, CT, with a hybrid schedule and relocation assistance available, you'll also gain insight into the permitting capabilities of locations across the U.S. to help shape efficient, sustainable solutions that maximize profitability.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in waste approvals, guiding internal teams and external customers.
- Review and approve waste profiles to ensure accuracy, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide regulatory guidance on EPA, RCRA, DOT, and state designations.
- Collaborate with sales, customer experience, and operations teams to streamline processes.
- Identify the best facilities for waste management based on operational and profitability goals.
- Optimize waste handling and disposal through innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Build strong relationships across teams and with external stakeholders to enhance outcomes.
