What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apprentice Pipefitter Needed! - Per Diem! position at GRUS Construction?
Apprentice Pipefitter needed for a commercial new construction project in the Kaseville, PA area. Duties will include assisting Journeyman with installing pipe and pipe hangers on new construction using ladders and/or scissor lift in tight spaces. You will be working with schedule 40 steel grooved pipe 2" and larger and 1.5" to 3/4" threaded pipe. Experience with Niron piping preferred but not required. You must be able to take direction, work quickly and independently since this is a production environment. You must have hand tools of the trade, including drill. You may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check upon arrival.
Pay rate: up to $29/hr
Duration: 1 month
Per diem: $100/day for days worked
