What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeymen Pipefitters Needed! - Per Diem + OT! position at GRUS Construction?
Journeymen Pipefitters needed for fitting stainless steel, carbon, chrome seamless and welded pipe in the Akron, OH area. You will be fitting stainless steel, carbon, chrome seamless and welded pipe. You must be able to tack weld and you must be comfortable fitting pipe ranging from 2" schedule 10 up to 72" double heavy wall process pipe. You must correctly assemble piping spools & components based on a detailed drawings. This includes selecting the correct material, dimensions (both inner and angular), and observing stated specifications and tolerances. You must be knowledgeable in basic mathematics, geometry, trigonometry and general pipefitting techniques. You must be able to read and layout from blueprints. You must have all your own basic hand tools. You may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check upon arrival.
Pay rate: up to $38/hour
Per diem: $120/day
Duration: 5 months
